Buccweet Tha Animal

Buccweet was born Shawndell Mackey in Los Angeles, CA. Since day one he was a star. At age 10 he began rapping, at age 11 he began to D.J., and at age 15 he began producing. In 1996 Buccweet entered his first recording deal with One Eye Productions. As the third member in the rap group “The Infamous”, they completed an album.



Buccweet ventured to New York on his own in 1997 with one thing in mind, a solo career with an emphasis on production. In 2000 Mr. Weet entered his second record deal with Status Records. There he completed an album under the label Status Records along with Mass Production.



Buccweet is still to this day one of the hardest working men in the music business. He has relocated back to California in the San Fernando Valley, and travels to NY and ATL often to work on new projects. He has established himself in the game as a hard-hitting, booty bouncing, street-knocking producer! He is taking the producing game over with his versatile style that spans from Rap, to Alternative, to R&B. Buccweet has also begun leaving his mark in the rap game as an artist. With a unique voice that catches the ear immediately he has many veterans in the game wanting to work with him; as seen on the E-40 laced track “Stunna Shades”. But don’t let the cliché producer turned rapper storyline fool you, Buccweet The Animal is a business man first and foremost. Having recently established Luchiano Entertainment, this man is a mogul in the making!!
