DESCRIPTION:
We were visiting Cerknica and the vanishing lake in Slovenia and our good friend Ljoba Jence, who kindly invited us to stay the night. While we were there Ljoba took us for a tour of the lake (which hadn't vanished when we were there but was very full of water following the rains). Together with our English singers she sang Pobelelo Pole which is very popular here - possibly because it hasn't got too many words. The song says the Fields were white with sheep and then goes on about their shepherd falling asleep and dreaming of the fairies.
