The london based artist yaeo, had a nomadic upbringing between kent & london, where he started graffiti movements and became a member of some of the most infamous graffiti crews in europe. Due to this he had regular rendezvous with officers of the law at a very young age.

After removing himself from a record deal he released the critically acclaimed, but low budget e.P entitled, 'tha last of tha mohawks'. This heart felt e.P also featured skin of skunk anansie, & farma .G and was distributed widely within the legendary kung-fu flyer packs. This project broke yaeo into the uk hip hop scene with his uniquely honest content and sound. It was reviewed by hhc, 'this is that sundance, bob dylan type hip hop! Heavy sh*t' (hhc, dan greenpeace), amongst many other.

This was the start of yaeo's mohawk gang movement & record label which he has gone on record saying, 'is an important part of all the muzik i make!'

As well as being known for his 'street art', yaeo was also a firm fixture at all of london's underground hip hop clubs and was renowned for his rebel like antics. At one of these venues he met with skinnyman, who made him part of the mud family.

Now with his foot slightly 'in the door', yaeo followed up the e.P with some radio exclusives such as, his more up tempo 'stop me now' (produced by farma.G). Giles peterson of radio one opened his show with this track and it was also played heavily on 1xtra & kissfm, by such dj's as mk and rodney p & skitz. This video is in the editing stages and i am told that it contains footage of yaeo with some of the most infamous characters in london.

After a bunch of mixtape features and radio appearances yaeo started to work on his next project, whilst also working closely with some of north london's f.L.I.P. In 2008 through his self-created label, mohawk gang entertainment, yaeo released the underground smash of a single, 'call tha police'. This track was accompanied with a video, a video that was the first uk rap to be picked up by worldstarhiphop.Com and placed on their sort after website.
Yaeo has been in the studio over the past year cooking up his long awaited release 'the london wave', which has the sincerity of an album whilst retaining the rawness of a mixtape.
This mix-album also features harlem's max b, french montana, biggathreat and london's cerose (pdc), wordsmith, supar novar, queen vic and harlem's biggathreat. As well as thelondonwave, yaeo has now been made a member of the wave gang / gaingreene & cokeboys familia. That also consists of dame grease, max b, french montana, chinx drugs, al pac and more!

**Yaeo is a widely undiscovered talent that will make a difference!**
