TRICKSTA BIOGRAPHY
Started DJ’ing in 1989 on pirate radio and clubs all over the West Midlands in England (UK) before working at a record shop called Ruby Red Records from 1991-1995. I Left in 1995 to work for a record label and have DJ’ed at clubs/music events/radio stations in Miami, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Houston, Amsterdam, Cannes, Stockholm, Zurich, Istanbul, London and more.
In May 1999 I founded Wolftown Recordings www.wolftownrecordings.com and Magazine www.ragomagazine.com with my business partner LATE (www.myspace.com/latewolftown). In 2001 I founded the UK Hip-Hop mixtape series UK Runnings (www.ukrunnings.co.uk) and have dropped over 15 mixtapes, one with a DVD.
I am mixtape DJ have also done official mixed CD’s with USA artists such as D-Block, Chamillionaire, Papoose, Sheek Louch, Trae, Stat Quo, French Montana, Spider Loc & 40Glocc (G-Unit), Red Café, Synplife’s 354, Keak Da Sneak, The Jacka, St. Laz, K-Rino, KB Da Kidnappa and more.
I am also a producer and the following people have rapped on my beats. Willie D from The Geto Boys, K-Rino, JT The Bigga Figga, Dope-E, Synplife (D-Block), Geezy from The Fendi Boys (Thizz World), St. Laz, Lil DVS and more, as well as UK artists such as LATE, Supar Novar, Jai Boo, Big Narstie, Moorish Delta 7, TBear, Mr. Ti2bs, 10Shott, Conman, Size8, Conspicuous The Coroner, Kid Rad and many more. I do sell beats, if you are seriously interested let me know. Please don't step to me without a budget.
I am also the official DJ for the UK’s number one on-line clothing store The Urban Shop (www.theurbanshop.co.uk). I do a monthly radio show on there and you can listen by visiting the stores web address and clicking 'radio'.
I am an offcial member of K-Rino’s South Park Coalition (www.southparkcoalition.com), and produce and do mixtapes for SPC artists. I also run SPC UK with LATE & K-Rino.
