This excerpt of "Warm Moving Bodies" was performed at Hurrah on April 24, 1981. Camera, editing, animation by Merrill Aldighieri. The animation was made by scratching frame by frame on a piece of unexposed 16 mm film leader, taping the ends together, projecting it on a painted chest (Daryl Maupin!) through some handheld colored gels and re-filming it with a video camera. This actual concert had live projections of films made by the band leader Scott Rysen. For that reason the stage lights were very dark. I almost didn't film because of that, but the music was so great i could not resist trying anyway. You see the result. Of course the cameras of those days were not as good in low light as you can get now.
