WARATTAH

WARATTAH est un groupe de Métal formé par Khris dans le but de pouvoir écrire la musique qu'il n'avait pu exprimer avec ses autres formations.
Après quelques changements de line-up et un certain nombre de concerts depuis 2007, le groupe se stabilise autour de Khris (guitare/chant), Denis (guitare), Simon (batterie) et Matthieu (basse).
En avril 2006, la démo 4 titres – Distorsion - a été enregistrée et à été élue "Démo du mois" dans « Rockhard » (juin 2006), et "Disque autoproduit du mois" dans « Guitar Part » (Mars 2007).
Cette démo a été diffusée sur les cds samplers et chroniquée dans les magasines spécialisés « Rock Hard n°56 », « Rock One n°41 », « Metallian n°46 », « Guitarist Magasine n°198S », « Rock Tribune n°61 » (NL), ainsi que dans de nombreux webzines et fanzines à travers le monde.
Le morceau "Skulls in the River Beds" a servi de support musical pour le reportage des "Vibrations Urbaines 2006" de Pessac (contest BMX, Rollers) et clip vidéo du morceau « Fits of Rage » a été diffusé sur "MCM", "MCM Belgique", "MTV Pulse", au Benelux sur "S-Television", et au Canada par "Shok Productions".
WARATTAH est un groupe de Métal sans concession, avec un chant brut, batterie technique, guitares puissantes et basse groovy.
L'objectif fondamental du groupe reste de faire de la scène.
Le groupe a enregistré leur 1er album - Hatred & Strength - au mois d'août 2009 (14 titres) mais suite à un grave accident de la route de Khris, il n'est sorti qu'en janvier 2012 sur le label XIIIbis Record/Warner Music. Là encore, le groupe a été très bien chroniqué dans « Rock Hard », « Metallian », « Metal Obs », et beaucoup d'autres magasines et webzines. S'en est suivi des dates avec DAGOBA ET GOJIRA notamment, avec de très bons reports de ces concerts.
Le groupe s'attelle désormais à la composition du second album, et va diffuser le second clip officiel du morceau « Walk The Line ».



WARATTAH is a metal band that was formed in Bordeaux in December 2005. It was formed by Khris (guitar/vocals), who wanted to create the music which he wasn't able to express with his other bands.
After a few tests, the definitive lineup was found with Khris (guitar/vocals), Denis (guitar), Simon (Drums) and Matthieu (bass).
At the end of April in 2006, a 4-song demo was recorded, and it was subsequently voted as "Demo of the Month" in the June 2006 issue of "Rock Hard magazine" and "Auto production of the Month" in the March 2007 issue of "Guitar Part magazine".
Warattah has been aired on CD samplers of "Rock Hard" (issue# 56) and "Rock One" (issue# 41). Other reviews have appeared in "Metallian" (issue# 46), "Guitarist Magazine" (issue#198S), "Rock Tribune" (Dutch - issue# 61), and in various webzines.
WARATTAH is a metal band that holds nothing back, with raw vocals, technical drumming, powerful guitars and a grooving bass.
Also, the video for "Fits of Rage" aired on "MCM", "MCM Belgium", "MTV Pulse", on Benelux's "S-Television", and on Canada's "Schok Productions".
The main objective of the band will remain live performance.
The band has recorded their debut album – Hatred & Strength – in August 2009 (14titles) but after a serious car accident of Khris, it was released only in January 2012 on the labels XIIIbis Records/Warner Music. Again, the band has been reported in "Rock Hard", Metallian", "Metal Obs" and many other magazines and webzines. Concerts have followed with Dagoba and Gojira, with very good reports of these dates.
The band is working now in the composition of the second album, and will broadcast the second official video clip of the song "Walk The Line".
