DESCRIPTION:
I wanted to put something together inspired from the classic style of Turntablism. Part of the appeal of beat juggling for me was picking a tune and flipping it your way. A lot of modern Tablism involves progressive sounds and techniques where record choice isn't necessarily a focus. I remember practicing with my crew and part of the excitement was hearing what great track they flipped. it gives the listener an anchor point to understand what you're doing especially if the record is known. for this piece I kept in mind that I'm not exactly a kid anymore and thought of this joint from Jay Z's Black Album that would speak about my current experiences in life.Anyway, If this OG was still battling, I'd flip this record;)
