I was born in Dallas,TX in the summer of '85. My moms and pops had a falling out so I moved with my mother to Seattle in '89. I moved place to place quickly as my mother took me from what she considered the i'lls of urban dwelling to the bliss of the suburbs. It backfired. The gap between family incomes as well as racial backgrounds made me feel like I was an outsider. This is were I started to get into trouble. At one point I had to leave and live with my grandparents because the stresses I was causing on my mother were too great for her to handle in her opinion. I came back and the following year met Same Sun and Logos while attending a local community college. We started to exchange with each other our work and eventually came to a point were it was felt I, along with DJ Tea Monee, should join the group. Then came Guerrilla Music. 10,000 copies Circulating in Washington alone. With the financial as well as social success of Guerrilla Music we started eagerly on our next project, The Merchandice 2. Some aspects of the crew changed but the message remained the same, "Strictly on that real shit." And that's what My crew and I plan to keep on doing. Enjoy.
