DESCRIPTION:
Third single release by Laura Nyro, released in April of 1967. A-side was retitled "Flim Flam Man (Hands Off The Man)" (the Verve Folkways and Verve Forecast LPs titled it "Hands Off The Man", while the Columbia reissue of 'The First Songs' label it as "Flim Flam Man" and the CD of 'playlist: the very best of Laura Nyro' titles it "Flim Flam Man (aka Hands Off The Man)"). Verve Folkways orinally backed the single with "And When I Die". KF5051. There are some listings in Laura's discography for a November, 1968, release of "Stoney End" backed with "Flim Flam Man" as KF5095, but I have yet to see a photo of it, much less come across a physical copy of it. My belief is that it was planned for release, but cancelled.
