Brian Kehoe, our friend from Dunlop, was excited to show off the new MXR Super Badass Variac Fuzz (http://bit.ly/2f1ei0b). Based of a Band of Gypsys Fuzz Face that famed pedal maker Jeorge Tripps modded with a tone knob and Brian's own idea to add a variac switch; the Super Badass Variac Fuzz can go from a nice, subtle overdrive fuzz into a gated, pinched, psychedelic fuzz with just one turn of the variac switch. The variac switch can adjust the pedal's voltage from a clean 15V all the way down to 5V, which brings the tone into that "dying battery" territory.
