Why there is not a Red Poppy Art House in every neighborhood I have no idea....

(Actually, I do have an idea: it's because individuals such as the Todd, who are willing to take on the effort required, are few and far between. The hotel tax--a regressive tax on working people--is used to find the pet projects of our dissolute elite--the symphony, opera, museums etc.

And tickets to these concerns are priced so high that ordinary working people for the most part can not afford to attend.

My own view is let the wealthy pay for ALL of these. Fat chance!)
