The improbable and completely wonderful Stroom.tv invited me to play a live-set, with accompanying graphics for an hour or so.

I ended up playing a 100 minute set (my longest ever) which was totally live and improvised, with special custom-designed graphics.

The result is definitely quite raw, introducing some new elements to my live show, like sampling and granular synthesis. As I had no patterns in front of me, you can hear me trying things out. So a work in progress, but a very enjoyable one to test things out.

Do note that the audio recording is far from perfect (there's some clipping), not helped by the audio recorder dying partway through (and being set too low).

My thanks to Stroom.tv for the chance to take part in their very promising project. Their version of the video (including a window onto what I'm doing) will go online in the next couple of months. Check them out, in any case, it's really very cool. http://stroom.tv
