Bellinger Accordion Tuning Air Table Demonstration - Video
PUBLISHED:  Dec 16, 2014
DESCRIPTION:
Demonstration of my accordion reed tuning air table. When I reach far to the right I am adjusting the air blower pressure/flow. Watch the plastic valves on the reeds while I demonstrate playing 3 chord reeds. You can see the flow based on how bent back the valves are. I have very fine control over the pressure/flow. There is a sensitive pressure/vacuum gage in the background (circular meter on a stand) that allows me to carefully balance the 'start up' or 'speak' response on each reed but unfortunately the dial is washed out in this overexposed video.

Left side knob selects vacuum or pressure.Right side knob lifts and lowers 4 pins that act as a backstop to position the reedblock centered over the appropriate hole. The three brass sliders select (left): dual small holes; (center) large single hole for chords/bass/fixture; (right) single small hole front or back.
