I can't tell you how many people requested this, haha...sorry I can't keep track, but thank you to everyone that did!

Part of Your World is literally my favorite song of all time, and it was one of the very first songs I ever uploaded to YouTube. Of course that was year ago now, and I wasn't in costume or even really trying to look or sound like Ariel. I was just a girl having fun singing in her bedroom. Not much has changed since then...I'm still just a girl singing for fun making videos at home, but then again, everything has changed. In part because of that video, and definitely because of YouTube, I am now living a dream in a sense, b/c I get to play The Little Mermaid (as well as many of my other favorite fairytale characters) at events for my job. I've noticed that I've now kind of become known here on YT for my character videos, and I thought it was high time I made a video as my favorite Princess, singing my favorite song. I really hope you enjoy it!

That said, I will also say that I know this isn't my best. My voice was hoarse and I am still unhappy with the quality of my audio for videos....I also wish I had a better background that wasn't so distracting...hello Traci's apartment! Haha. (I did like that it's all blue behind me though...just imagine it's an underwater apartment!) But I had just gotten back from a WONDERFUL Mermaid Princess party that day and was already in costume and in the mood to sing, so I just went for it. (Don't mind the straps on my shoulders...sometimes mermaids get cold on the World Above and wear body stockings under their seashells haha).

I have a project I am starting to work on coming up...I'm sure it will take months and months but I plan to make a video in my full, brand new Ariel cosplay once it's finished, singing this song. I won't say much more than that, but just know I definitely want to improve upon this video. This is just for now...

Obviously, Jodi Benson is one of my hugest inspirations. I know I have no where near her caliber of talent, but I hope you can appreciate my effort to portray my favorite character of all time. Ariel is definitely my Disney identity!
