F-Holes "Song #1" - Salmon Arm's Roots & Blues Festival - Video
PUBLISHED:  Dec 14, 2010
DESCRIPTION:
The F-Holes, named after those abstractly f-shaped sound holes found on many acoustic instruments, will knock you on your feet with their fiery concoction of swing, blues, country, bluegrass and jazz. The F-Holes take musicality to a new level with a diverse yet distinct sound boogie for those interested in doing some serious jitterbugging, St. Louis shagging or lindy hopping, it is nicely balanced with a moderate dose of country and a nice bit of slow blues.

For years, the F-Holes live shows have wooed audiences of all ages and they're now set to unleash their unique brand of vintage inspired tunes to listeners around the world. They've got the 23-skidoo threads, the old-school vibe, the doghouse bass, and banjo and trumpet. More to the point, they've got an impeccably authentic, raucously entertaining blend of gypsy jazz, zippy Dixieland, viper blues and roots that's sure to get you up out of your chair and dancing!

This performance was recorded during Salmon Arm's 18h Annual Roots & Blues Festival and by the volunteer documentary crew. Salmon Arm, British Columbia.
