secret knowledge NO!.wmv - Video
PUBLISHED:  Dec 20, 2010
DESCRIPTION:
This was Secret Knowledge's protest at the 'repetitive beats' law brought in when it was considered that 'Rave' music was creating a new movement of people that were going to stay up all night dancing to loud music....As if its never happened before! There was no need for enforcement because the Corporate Machine licensed it all and sold it to the masses as an excuse to party all night with strippers and foam for £ 40 a ticket. It was actually a fabulous time because it a lot of ex punks who had cottoned on to the excitement of the late clubs (trinity, depot, club biscuit, tokyo sex whale, thekla in bristol) also embraced the rebellious nature of the new scene. Even John lydon released club mixes with Leftfield.
