DESCRIPTION:
Tir Na Nog Friday Oct 03 2014, Jan Johansson & Friends, Julie Elkins, Scott McBride, Mike Aldridge and Sean McKerr. We are excited to perform some of our favorite bluegrass numbers for you good friends and neighbors this coming Friday at Tir Na Nog in Raleigh.
Our repertoire is primarily taken from the songbooks of Bill Monroe, Stanley Brothers, Flatt & Scruggs, Jimmy Martin and Vanilla Ice. Add to that some classic country songs and you can kind of get the picture.
The group members come from many different places and backgrounds and even in a couple of cases different native languages but we are all united by a love and a passion for the artists and song writers
