DESCRIPTION:
A salute to the late Alex Chilton, featuring a beautiful pic by Stephanie Chernikowski and a version of Alex's Big Star classic, "September Gurls," as rendered by my old punk band The Hormones. "September Gurls" was recorded on 4-track in the fall of 1997 in our guitar player's living room for the first of Duane Peter's OLD SKARS AND UPSTARTS punk rock compilations. R.I.P., Alex.
