Singer - Songwriter | R&B - Pop - Soul
Tim Fonseca has just finished recording his latest album, "The Philadelphia Project", a 14 song collaboration with Producer
Steve Paul - in what many critics are calling "his most
inspired work to date". "It's a perfect match of Tim's passion and soul and his love for music".
Tim was born and raised in the Boston area, started playing drums at 7 years old and by age 13 was performing in a band with
his two older brothers. Throughout his childhood, Tim's parents encouraged him to pursue his many creative, artistic and
athletic talents. This encouragement and creative freedom helped provide the foundation for his belief that "anything is
achievable if you go after it with courage and determination." This personal motivational philosophy has stayed with Tim all
of his life. In High School, Tim was a multi-medalist gymnast, captain of the gymnastics team,
national honor student and advanced martial arts competitor - and would go on to become a
3rd degree black belt in Karate. As a young adult, and in college, Tim would utilize this same drive to
pursue a second career along side of his music in Pastry
Arts. Tim has become one of the most sought after Pastry Chefs in the business - earning national recognition on
the Food Network, The Boston Globe, The Boston Herald, The Providence Journal, The Chicago Sun Times, as well as many
national food publications. This has reinforced Tim's motivational philosophy that his passion and hard work could lead to
more exciting things in his life· Tim has pursued his music career with the same level of enthusiasm as he has exercised in
all of his other pursuits - perhaps even more!
Tim is well known in the Boston area and received a nomination at the "Boston Music Awards". Since this nomination, Tim has
written, recorded, produced and performed 2 solo albums and has garnered fans and record sales in the US, UK, Europe, Africa,
Asia, Russia, Italy and Germany. Tim collaborates with: Leo Mellace & Steve Catizone (Wyclef Jean; Anthony Hamilton; Damian
"Jr. Gong" Marley; Carl Thomas; The Isley Brothers; Tom Hamilton of Aerosmith; Gary Cherone of Extreme and Van Halen); Steve Paul (Rick Nielsen, Tom Petersson and Bun E. Carlos of Cheap
