I met Merdado and Lucierno in the area of Tena, where they run an animal rescue center, aiming at freeing wild animals formerly used as pets in the jungle. They were very kind and interesting persons and Merdado knew a lot about south american traditional and socialist songs. He taught me this magic little traditional song from Cuba, made popular by Silvio Rodriguez. See how the lyrics are poetic and beautiful !
