DESCRIPTION:
Lucas Maree (1952-2011) was a Afrikaans folk singer/songwriter famous for his songs "Ek sou kon doen met 'n miljoen" (I could do with a million), Droomvrou (Dream Woman) and Victoriabaai (Victoria Bay).

Though he was known to be soft spoken, "Victoriabaai" perhaps more than any of his other songs encapsulated the real Lucas -- a gentle and kind hearted soul with a yearning for a life beyond what this world has to offer.
