作品について / Program notes:
この作品は、彩たま低音’ｓ倶楽部というバリチューバ団体が第10回定期演奏会という大変記念すべき会に委嘱してくださり、2008年５月に練馬文化センターにて初演されました。
その時の演奏会のテーマが「これまで～そしてこれから」というものだったため現在、過去、未来を用いた作品にしようと決めました。「現在(Present)」は明るく「過去(Past)」はなんとなく切なく、そして「未来(Future)」は不安と希望にあふれている感じに仕上げてみました。奏者、聴者みなさんのこれまでの仕事、恋愛、人生などに当てはめて聴いていただければと思います。
第３楽章(Future)は委嘱時に「限界に挑戦してみたい」というご意見をいただいため、かなりテクニカルなものに仕上げています。ぜひ挑戦してみてください。

Commissioned the bari/tuba group "Saitama Teion's Club" for their 10th anniversary concert and premiered at the Nerima Culture Center in May 2008. Since the theme of the concert at that time was "until now and from now on", I decided to make a work that uses the present, the past, and the future.
"Present" is bright, "Past" is somehow nostalgic and emotional, and "Future" is full of anxiety and hope.
I hope that players and audience can apply it to their past, romances, life, etc.
The 3rd movement (Future) is technically challenging to reflect the commissioning message of "I wish to push the limits".
