About This Video:

Someone asked me why I was making a Public Service Announcement on this topic. They asked if I lost anyone due to texting and driving.

I haven't and I don't want to. I believe this is a huge problem which needs to be handled immediately. The statistics are staggering and incredibly scary.

A Solution:
I have offered a solution here - for car and auto makers to team up. Car makers will put a signal in the car, which when started talks to the operating system of the mobile phone and disables texting.
This feature will completely disable texting as long as the car is on. There are already vehicles by some car makers that do disable navigation and touch screens when the car is not in motion - the same should be done for the Texting feature on our phones.

Spread the Word and Stop Texting And Driving:
We have all been guilty of texting and driving. Please either turn off your phone or put it away when you are driving. Keep your eyes on the road - Stay Alert - Stay Alive.
