DESCRIPTION:
The last L&L AllStars show @ Town Hall Pub, Chicago 4/25/2004. The drummer was a no-show: Mick Doug & Jim honored the age-old theatre tradition (the show must go on).
After performing the set, an audience member asked to sit in - his kit happened to be in the pub's back room. Don't know his name, but he did pretty well for someone who'd never heard our songs before. Jim opted to sit out, but Col. Doug Taylor & Mick played out the night with this kind stranger. This evening proved to be the beginning of the end for the AllStars. We met Dr. Brad earlier that evening, who ended up being the last drummer for the AllStars. Mick & Dr. Brad formed The Polymer Twins, and recorded this (Mick's) song on The Polymer Twins CD "I'm From Akron".
