The Center for Hawaiian Music Studies, Inc. hosts the Kahumoku ‘Ohana Music and Lifestyle Workshop annually on the Island of Hawai‘i.

Hele on to Pahala where you’ll enjoy a week immersed in the sounds of the islands.

Keoki Kahumoku has appeared on five Grammy-winning albums. He invites you to join him at his annual workshop in the district of Ka’u. Learn ki ho’alu (slack key guitar), ‘ukulele, steel guitar, song writing, music theory, and hula from today’s top masters, many of whom are award-winning musicians with ties to Hawaii Island. Other cultural activities include lei making, Hawaiian song and choir, lauhala and coconut palm weaving, food preparation, and traditional crafts.
