DESCRIPTION:
Having opened for their longtime hero, Levon Helm, in 2010; The New Familiars began an annual Thanksgiving tradition of paying tribute to Helm after his death in 2012. In 2013, Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion invited The New Familiars to play a tribute set at Bristol's Paramount Theatre during the fest. That night, they were joined by many of the friends they've made over the years at the festival. Here in this video of "You Aint Going Nowhere", captured by Nashville's Music City Roots, they are joined by Ian Thomas & Paul lee Kupfer of The Bus Driver Tour and Sam Quinn.
