We just lost my best bud, John Kuhlken. He was Drummer Extraordinaire, U.S. Veteran, Aztec, Surfer, Golfer, Cyclist, Cancer Survivor, and Friend to all the met John.
This video is of Sara Petite & The Sugar Daddies at the 2010 Adams Ave. Street Fair. John played with many bands over his carreer including, The Targets, The Soda Jerks, Deep In The Shed, The MacAnanys, The Nards, Brawley, and Sara Petite & The Sugar Daddies.
He liked to call the music that he played, "Blue Jeans Rock 'n Roll," or "Free Range Rock." He loved "Americana," "Alt Country," "Ska," Elvis Costello, The Rolling Stones, The Clash, Tom Petty, George Jones, The Rugburns, The Untouchables, The Farmers, Steve Poltz, and Sara Petite.

His smile, wit and sense of humor was well known by all who knew him.
