"Oh, Lonesome Me" by Robert Grimes (The Early Technicolor Film Edit) - Video
PUBLISHED:  Nov 11, 2013
DESCRIPTION:
Here is "Oh, Lonesome Me" written by the great composer and singer Don Gibson! The day he wrote the song he also wrote "I Can't Stop Loving You", which was made famous by Ray Charles. Don Gibson really liked "I Can't Stop Loving You" best, and told his record company to give "Oh, Lonesome Me" to George Jones. His record company disagreed, and told Don to record the song, and with some coaxing from Don, they agreed to put "I Can't Stop Loving You" on the flip side. The rest is history! Again, written on the same day, they were both huge hits! This is "Oh, Lonesome Me".
