One of the best loved acts on the Psychobilly scene, the Long Tall Texans hailed from Brighton and became one of the best-loved bands on the scene. With the ever smiling Mark Carew trapped behind his double bass, wailing manic mutant rockabilly lines backed by the ever reliable guitar trickster Mark Denman both supported by the solid voodoo rhythms of drummer Theo, the Texans were a charismatic as they were tuneful.

The second, a slightly more intimate but no less chaotic affair, was recorded at Billy's, Stoke on Trent in 1992. The two programmes cover most of the Texans' best loved songs, whilst capturing the shear balls out fun of one of their gigs.
