Thelma Houston's original 1973 version that was shelved before Diana Ross covered it in 1975.
It's interesting that both the A side (Do You Know) and the flip (No One's Gonna Be A Fool Forever) of Diana's subsequent 45 were both previously done by Thelma in the same year (1973).
Considering that almost no changes were done to Diana's cover version, I think it's safe to say that the Motown powers realized it was a big hit and kept it for Diana's use... fortunately for her and unfortunately for Thelma.
