The concert is a benefit for Katherine Ludwig, former editor of the long-running heavy metal magazine Metal Maniacs, who is battling Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.

Founded in 2006, The Ghost Of Saturday Nite is a hardcore punk band from Raleigh, North Carolina. The band's crunchy groove blends their version of old school punk with SoCal west coast sensibilities.
