DESCRIPTION:
This started out as water pump replacement, but after I got the water pump off, I realized I still saw water dripping, it was the TC gasket. This leak was fooling me into believing the thermostat housing gasket was leaking. My video includes important details showing how to install the cork corner gaskets for the timing cover with the oil pan in place. The car is an '89 Mustang GT with the 5.0 engine. There are more thorough videos on YouTube showing the whole process of the timing cover gasket replacement, I'm only trying to show what's involved when the timing cover is removed and replaced in the car. What a job this was, glad I had Todd's help !
