DESCRIPTION:
This Leicester based band consisting of 2 guitarists, a drummer and front man vocalist, left us wanting more when they performed an all cover set tonight. The tracks ranged from The Cult, Judas Priest, Zodiac Mindwarp and ACDC, to name a few and they would choose to support Zodiac Mindwarp if the offer ever arose. The vocalist has a fantastic stage presence and I mistook the closed eyes for shyness, which soon became apparent that he was totally into the passion of the band. They completely rocked it with an unassuming effort of confidence, an even tempo and blended vocals from the bassist. This was the very final act of the 12 weeks Battle of the Bands to help raise money for The Cystic Fibrosis Unit at Glenfield Hospital, and as we are left wanting more I look forward to hearing this band play again later in the year. Vote for The Fisters and, well...one never knows.
