The Failures

Started out of distaste for the safety of the current "formula" driven punk scene and disgust over the happy-go-lucky sounds that had become synonymous with Southern California Skacore, The Failures came together to throw caution to the wind and try something different! Mixing their love for all sounds roots, They sought to combine the best in street music from Kingston to London to Los Angeles.



Hailing from city streets all over the world, they have plenty to say: Tales of growing up poor and forgotten, coming of age with few options to succeed in life, to becoming adults with the realization that the deck was stacked against them all along - all distilled through their working class point of view. Finally settling on a roster that includes Paco on Guitar and Vocals, Jason on Bass and Vocals, Lynnda on Keyboard and Vocals and Johnny on Drums, they have released their first album, "Working Class Blues," featuring their commentary on the new economic order, celebrating the city that brought them all together, and neighborhood tales of success and failure from their youth.



Sharing the stage with great bands like The Adicts, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Union 13, The Dickies, Agent Orange, as well as local favorites like Slab, Battle Flask, Johnny Cheapo, The Disgustingtons and Dirty Filthy Mugs, The Failures play regularly through out Southern California while touring as much as possible. The Failures can't wait to get to your town and bring their stories to you!
