DC Sky | Zero-Project "A Forgotten Promise" | The Legend's Ballad - Video
PUBLISHED:  Dec 13, 2012
DESCRIPTION:
Thought these clouds were worth sharing. These are the skies over Washington, D.C. September 19, 2012. Though the clouds were a cool sight, they don't do the song justice. Music is "A Forgotten Promise" by Zero-Project.

If I'm not listening to some Catholic stuff nor heavy metal, then it's Zero-Project. Hope you enjoy and check out his work. http://zero-project.gr/

The best part about instrumentals, like Zero-Project puts out, is their open interpretation. Everyone who listens interprets it in their own way. So why did I title this video "The Legends Ballad"?

I get a certain vision, that feels very real, when I listen to this track. It's the vision of a Legend's later life. The track/life is shown in five parts.

First - 0:00-0:45 -- This is just the overview of a quiet, but just life. A steady and resolute person. But at the end, the final key signifies an event that brings him to action.

Second -- 0:46-1:45 -- The search for truth begins. Why did this happen? What does it mean? Finally, the sorrow overtakes him. He sees the world and the evil ones running it. He wants justice for those who perpetrated the event, but knows they are above the law. The final key signifies lost hope and defeat, for they can not be beat. He feels the 'pain of truth' and the 'truth of pain.'

Third -- 1:46-2:42 - He soul searches and looks to the heaven's for the answer. When the fight is lost, it then falls upon him. It is then he realizes what must be done. It's up to him to set things into motion. He will not survive, but he will be the trigger that will lead to the fall of the evil doers. He gathers his weapons.

Fourth -- 2:43-3:14 -- Knowing this fight will be his last, he valiantly flings himself into battle with the evil ones. He puts up fight like none other, but eventually is consumed by their power. He is mortality wounded, but he has become the fuse which will usher in the light. What a glorious death it was.

Fifth -- 3:15-3:54 - Signifies the reflection, remembrance and contemplation of what just occurred. There is a finality of what he began and accomplished. The final key is the end. He rests in peace with his Maker.

So that's the story I get from Zero-Project's "A Forgotten Promise"
