DESCRIPTION:
A segment from part two of the two-part special 'Countdown: Do Yourself a Favour', a special celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the beginning of the long running Australian music TV series Countdown, which aired on the ABC from 1974-1987. Part 2 of the special, hosted by Julia Zemiro, aired on the ABC on November 23, 2014.

This segment is a retrospective of the Australian 1980s band The Cockroaches, who would go on to much greater worldwide success in the 1990s and 2000s as children's band The Wiggles. The Cockroaches had a number of performances on Countdown, and even guest hosted an episode in May 1987. Discussing their Countdown experiences, in retrospect, are Cockroaches/Wiggles band members Jeff Fatt and Anthony Field. The performance shown at the end of the segment is from their Countdown performance of their big hit 'She's The One'.
