The Fourth (quatriême) "Ordre" by François Couperin, from his first book of keyboard music. Every "Ordre" contained a series of pieces in the same key, or its parallel minor: in the case of the fourth ordre, F major and minor.

The first piece, La Marche des Gris-vètus, is a march, as described by the title. "Gris-vètus" means "Gray-clothed" possibly referring to military uniform.
The second, Les Baccanales, refers to Bacchus, god of pleasure and excess. The piece is divided into three parts: Enjoüemens Bachiques, Tendresses Bachiques, and Fureures Bachiques.
The third piece is titled "La Pateline" which likely references a person of the same name. There are many examples of such dedications within Couperin's Ordres alone.
The final piece of the fourth "Ordre" is Le Réveil-matin, meaning "Morning awakening." The piece is a gigue, a lively court dance derived from the English jig.

This piece was recorded on a Yamaha P-85 in iMovie, via a direct stereo cable, which is why there is no background noise. The thumbnail is taken from the first edition, printed in 1713 under Couperin's supervision; the same edition which I use.
