Tribute to Ian Dury - Video
PUBLISHED:  Sep 03, 2010
DESCRIPTION:
Hi you tubers. Here is my own humble celebration of some of Britains finest musicians. To mark the 10 years anniversary of the passing of Ian Dury, I decided to spend some time looking into his music, and poetry, and also attempt to learn from the incredible group of musicians that are the Blockheads. Each member of the band is a legend in their own right, and when combined with the dynamic front man himself, the world of music was given an incredible gift.
To create something anywhere near a worthy tribute to this person is an impossible challenge for a guy in his living room, but I decided to record what I have learnt and share it on here with anyone who wants to watch. Ignore the mistakes and the ocasional bass face and enjoy the rest.
Thanks for watching, Al ;-)
Please watch in HD for best quality
