DESCRIPTION:
This song was written by David McComb and performed by his last band, Costar. David McComb's untimely death in early 1999 meant that it was recorded, but never formerly released. Rob Snarski, of the Blackeyed Susans, performed the song with heartfelt verve as part of the Triffids re-union show, 'A Secret In the Shape Of A Song'. It was a real highlight for me at the Sydney show I attended in January 2008. These gigs were filmed and released on the DVD 'Its Raining Pleasure'

This version of the song was recorded in June 2008 and has recently been released on the CD 'Deep In A Dream'. This CD is to help raise funds or a film on David McComb called 'Love In Bright Landscapes' http://loveinbrightlandscapes.com

David McComb seems to be finally getting some of the recognition he deserves with a couple of recent books and another one on the way. But it's the songs that say it loudest and that are the greatest testament to David's achievements. I thought I had stumbled onto something special when I first heard the Triffids circa 1984. Seeing them live in 1988 and 1989 confirmed it. There's been many magic moments with the Susans as well.
