Tha Stuntmen live up to their name. A good stuntman should be ready to tackle anything and Tha Stuntmen do exactly that. Embracing hip-hop, R&B, gospel, urban and pop flavors in their mighty melding of sounds, these brilliant producers presents bright, deep music that is capable of entertaining a broad spectrum of listeners. People come from all walks of life and musical interests to hear the mesmerizing flavors of Tha Stuntmen.

Getting Lost

Listeners are able to get lost in the music of Tha Stuntmen because Tha Stuntmen themselves understand what it means to swim, lost in a big sea of beautiful music. “Music makes us feel complete, whole, excited, happy, inspired. We can lose ourselves in the right melody.” As it happens, Tha Stuntmen are just the right folks to craft the right melody to galvanize an audience and bring fun and inspiration to fans all over the map.

No Wrong Note

Tha Stuntmen also believe in being true to one's artistic inclinations. A great artist need not limit himself to what's been done before or constrict himself with the limited paradigm of mainstream radio fare. “There's no such thing as a wrong note; there are just wrong ways to play them. If it feels good to you, do it.” If the passion is there, if the talent is there, if the heart and ability are all in place, then the song will sound right as long as it's honest and in tune with the artist's intention. And Tha Stuntmen apply this principle to all the songs they write and produce.

Above

Tha Stuntmen look to the highest order for inspiration. “God is the ultimate inspiration,” they say. Real gospel spirit flows through all of the songs crafted by these fine producers. But things earthly don't escape their notice either. There's plenty of wholesomeness to be found down here beneath heaven and Tha Stuntmen draw from the creation around them for inspiration as well. “Outside of Him, there are so many artists, songwriters, musicians and producers that have helped to cultivate and influence our sound. We really don't know where to start!”

Work

Tha Stuntmen have nabbed an impressive notch in their collective belt, having garnered songwriting and production credits on the “Deep Blue Sea” soundtrack. They have also done music for a Detroit Clear Channel radio station – 92.3 FM ("Rythym & Praise" theme for pastor Marvin Winans' radio show). In addition, the group claims a number of other songwriting and production credits: Vanessa Bell-Armstrong on EMI, J Moss (Gospocentric), Darlene McCoy (EMI), Bobby Brown on Diamond Music Group (Sony BMG) and Fundamental 3 (Diamond). Tha Stuntmen are currently working with A&R Select, the leading independent A&R firm in Hollywood, CA.

Review “Tha Stuntmen have a rare ability to channel superb urban flavors into spiritual contexts without diluting either the music or the message.” - A&R Select
