Born December 3rd , a native Detroiter, educated in the Detroit Public School System and Wayne County Community College. Rudolph Stanfield, Jr. began his career in music at the age of four, with the teaching, guidance and prayers of his grandmother the late Macie L Gardner-Stanfield. Rudolph is the son of the preaching and musical team of Bishop Rudolph Stanfield, Sr. and the late Rev. Lady Marva Lee Stanfield. In which he shares a legacy of love, gifts and talents passed down from generations.

Pastor Rudy is an accomplished Musician, Writer, Composer, Arranger and one of the most sought after Producers in the industry of gospel music. Rudy has been in the industry of music for more than 30 years. He has recorded some 50 plus records, producing and co-producing over 30 recordings, most of which reaching the charts of Billboard Top Ten Gospel Music's Best Selling Records through out the Country. Some of which were among his personal recordings of Rudolph Stanfield and New Revelation on the Sound of Gospel Record label; Live And In Praise and Live And In Praise II. Rounding off a list of top ten artist which included Kirk Franklin, Yolanda Adams, Mississippi Mass, Rev. James Moore, Pastor Shirley Caesar, Helen Baylor, LaShun Pace Rhodes, The Canton Spirituals and Rev. Milton Brunson and the Thompson Community Singers.

Pastor Rudy started his producing career at the age of (16) producing Bishop James Mark and The Voices of Heaven. Later at the age of (17) he became the co-producer and part of the musical team of Minister Thomas A Whitfield and The Whitfield Company. At the age of (19) he produced the demo recording which eventually lead to the signing and recording career of the legendary Ms Vanessa Bell Armstrong.

Rudy also had the pleasure of working on the soundtrack for the Spike Lee film Malcolm X, where he served as composer, arranger and co-producer for a song performed by the legendary Ms. Aretha Franklin, of whom he also served as one of Ms. Franklin's accompanist for several years.
