Tesco Disco is based on Hungary’s first indie party series ever, called Evidancehall 200000 which fired the dancefloor from 1993 to early 2000 on every fuckin friday in the South-Hungarian university town Pécs’s cultic club called Rak Café. After a tiny pause the party came back with a new name borrowed from the amazing EZ Basic track : Tesco Disco. he party is dedicated to Hungarian indie bands to give the opportunity to play in well-equipped venues in the city of Budapest. On our monthly shows usually 3 bands play live and after that the arrangers Pipó and Kecske dj-ing overnight with a budget ticket price.
