Jazz Vocalist Series @ Zeb's NYC Featuring Tony Hewitt & Interview with Johnny O'Neal (03/23/2011) - Video
PUBLISHED:  Mar 24, 2011
DESCRIPTION:
Zeb's is a great little NYC jazz "secret." Located above a plumbing supply store on West 28th St, they hold a weekly jazz vocalist series every Wednesday featuring a new jazz vocalist and followed by a great open mic. The owner, Saul Rubin, with his daughter Jenny Arrigo host this weekly series. You never know who will show up and be in the audience. This time great jazz pianist/vocalist Johnny O'Neal of Detroit graced us with his company...he sat in the first row for the entire show and loved every minute of Hewitt's set. After the set there is an open mic and O'Neal kindly accompanied many of the singers who signed up.

Tony Hewitt (vocals)
Francesca Han (piano)
Saul Rubin (guitar)
Wayne Batchelor (bass)
Victor Lewis (drums)
Louis Jones (guest vocalist on "Blackbird")
Johnny O'Neal (pianist/vocalist featured in the interview)
