Do you think you know what death is like?
Imagine sinking, falling, and losing your breath
awakening to aching pains when taking steps
losing the opinions of what you knew
being drained as your life passes through
I met a man who now sees with his eyes closed
Vulnerable, exposed; he assured me I wasn't alone
with open arms, I was invited into that home
Sat down and received life lessons and was told:
"someday you'll make these of your own"
One man's death opens the door for another
One man paints portraits, while another builds weapons
One man tries for new times, while another fights
to keeps it still
One man's death opens the door for another
Chances you will have in life become more clear
the moment you quit hiding from every fear
Scared, most live within papers of books
Focus on those sounds that pulled us through
all that we took.
Take it from someone now on the wrong side
of the hour glass of life.
Life seems it will always wish you the worst
...it's our duty to make it second guess that curse
Drown me out, gain a certain sense of changing
Gain a sense of changing noise to clarity
Noise to Clarity
See as I have seen
And you could up a thief

Your time is worth more than gold
Your time is worth more than you know
One man's death opens the door for another
One man paints portraits, while another builds weapons
One man tries for new times, while another fights
to keeps it still
One man's death opens the door for another
My dearest friend you gave me insight
I swear with you by my side I'll take root and grow
I swear I'll be nothing without you (insight)
I swear with you by my side I'll take root and grow
