Another animation of a musical comma showing that by moving four successive PERFECT fifths (ratio 2:3) you will arrive at the so-called pythagorean major third (64:81).
The just major third is found in the harmonic series as the ratio 4:5 (=64:80).
The difference between the two versions of the major third can be described in a mathematical language as 80:81.
But why not hear it for yourself!?
