Justin Bieber tells 70,000 at ANZ Stadium Sydney it’s ‘the best night of my life’ three times
JUSTIN Bieber scored the world’s biggest hug when he performed for more than 70,000 adoring fans at ANZ Stadium in Sydney on the final Australian show of his Purpose tour.

After he made a post during the week encouraging fans to “hug more”, his Beliebers seemed determined to send that back his way.
Bieber has confounded some critics and fans with his ‘going through the motions’ performance on the tour.

And there is something of the detached cool about his onstage persona when his Instagram account occasionally showcases that beaming smile.

And yes, Justin smiled in Sydney.

In fact he declared it “the best night of my life” not once but three times. Which means it must be true, right?

He certainly appeared to be engaged at the Sydney show, thanking them, revving them up to “make some noise” and bounce, as you do at a pop concert.

His voice is impressive in the cavernous arena; not as pristine as Adele had been in-the-round at the same venue over the weekend.
But she also wasn’t trying to do a nightclub in a sports stadium and moment when he sank into a couch at the end of his catwalk, Bieber’s production is massive.

There is nothing intimate about it beyond the ubiquitous acoustic played his guitar and the crowd sang along to Love Yourself.

And the phone torch piano song, Life Is Worth Living.
