Suzanne Randle

The story begins with a single mom who packs up everything she owns, her two young sons and a dream, heading to Nashville from her home state of Oregon. With a father who owned a music store, and played in the Navy Lab Band and sang barbershop quartet music, the seed of music had been planted in her heart at a young age. It was that seed Suzanne Randle took to Music Row and began to 'climb the mountain'.

She began to write. Weaving her interesting gypsy life into song has given her a strong base of creative ideas from which to draw musical pictures for the world. She began to sing, finding demo work here and there. Music Row was a long way from that first place win at the Country Showdown back home. It was even a long way from her hometown gig of singing four nights a week at the Mills Casino in Coos Bay. In Nashville, she found that singing or writing wasn't a premium employers paid for, when the best perform for free.

So, Suzanne Randle survived. She sold cemetery plots, funeral insurance, made cappuccinos and latte's on a rolling cart, and slung drinks at a local club. That paid the bills, while she pursued music. Co-writing, Demo-singing, and knocking on doors anytime she wasn't at a job or playing mom-taxi for the boys. Writers rounds, benefits, fronting bands, and making contacts helped but they hadn't made her an 'overnight' superstar. She has had some success on the European charts under the name, Suzy Randle, but that hasn't translated into the magic key to U.S. success.

A 'whim' audition for CMT's pilot, "The Shot", won her the top spot in the country for this new developing show. She was at coffee with a friend, discussing God and spirituality (her favorite subject), when Blake Shelton walked in with a camera crew to surprise her and tell her she 'won'! The show hasn't aired, but it put wind beneath her dreams as she was whisked away for 'imaging', 'rehearsing', and a show with Blake Shelton at the Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville.

Suzanne Randle hasn't given up. An 'unsinkable Molly Brown' with a joyful spirit, she perseveres with hope and an undying dream. She writes, she sings, and.she's now represented by Hippie Chick Twang (615)244-4422.
