STRIGER

Striger was born in Montreal, Canada in under the sign of the scorpion and the year of the dragon. With his first show at age 12, he then had the opportunity to sign a contract with the record company Les disques KLM (Jacynte). 1997 was a good year as Striger decided to form the group IMPAACT. Striger was also a founding member of this group which included the famous rebel group Kulcha Connection and JD.
VICE VERSET began in 1997 to compete for GOLD MIC INFECTION. Following their first place at GOLD MIC INFECTION, VICE VERSE was invited to compete for the larger RAP CITY '97. The group took advantage of RAP CITY to get greater visibility in the Hip-Hop scene in Montreal. They finished first in the French rap group and third overall.
In this competition, they received praise from many, and a lot of opportunities for their future. After many shows on the Montreal scene, VICE VERSET finally had a chance to prove themselves by participating in a compilation bringing together some of the most prestigious names in France (Iam, LaCliqua, Oxmo Puccino , etc.), in order to help UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization). In three weeks, it was a flying start in France with over 40,000 albums sold.
Subsequently, many offers and requests for participation in compilations abound for the group.
2006 was a good year for Striger; the launch of the first album for Vice Verset in store, participation on the Karl Wolf Face behind the face album and the number 1 single on charts: Colle toi à moi by Caroline Néron.
Since early 2009, Striger is working on the production for several artists including Rime, Manny, Anthony Roussel and many others at NOS Studios. With over 1000 show since the beginning of his career and many festivals including the prestigious New Years' Eve 2012 special concert in Toronto for CitiTV, Striger decided to create his first solo album which will be released in 2012 which will be a reggae and hip hop flavored album.
