LILLIAS WHITE is from BROOKLYN , NEW YORK and has been performing since childhood.
LILLIAS is a veteran of the BROADWAY stage and she has appeared in 8 ( eight )BROADWAY
productions where she is starring or featured . She is the recipient of the DRAMA
DESK, OUTER CRITICS CIRCLE, FRIENDS OF NEW YORK, And TONY AWARDS for best featured
actress in a musical (THE LIFE). LILLIAS was nominated for a TONY for her performance of
FUNMILAYO ANIKULAPO KUTI in FELA!
She has been seen on TV in various presentations including the PBS's 'IN PERFORMANCE,
LIVE FROM CARNEGIE HALL'
- "South Pacific", Law & Order, L&O(SVU), and as Lillian Edwards on SESAME
STREET.
On film LILLIAS has been seen with Katie Holmes, Derrick Luke and Patricia Clarkson in
PIECES OF APRIL, as well as with Jim Carey in the GRINCH movie.
LILLIAS is also known worldwide as the voice of The Lead Muse in Disney's animated
HERCULES.
She loves recording and can be heard on various cast albums, and house music mixes!
