DESCRIPTION:
The Stobo Stomp was written at the advent of the 6th Grand Tour of the Highlands and Islands of Scotlandia, 2016, in a fit of euphoria by lead violin person Chris Garrick.
Dedicated to the Stobo great and good and also to Moira Aitken of Portmahomak, who gamely endured its rehearsal at the Carnegie Hall, subsequently insisting on its debut performance in the encore of that evening’s show.
